HOWARD DREW THEATRE

July 7-August 1, 2010
Wed-Fri at 8pm; Sat at 5pm and 8pm; Sun at 3pm
Defending the Caveman is the longest running solo play in Broadway history. It’s a hilariously insightful examination of the ways men and women relate. Besides its amusing catalog of instantly recognizable traits that differentiate the sexes, the underlying message is that out of these differences springs the potential for bridge building rather that perpetual warfare. One critic wrote of the writer Rob Becker, “His affection for women, in tandem with his light-hearted defense of men, puts him in a win-win situation. In his hands, the fireworks of the sexual revolution have been melted into friendly fire.”
Starring Isaac Lamb/Paul Perroni.
