Community Partnerships

Theatre is a reflection of real life that often showcases very important issues and themes, the artistic and education teams at OCP are dedicated to developing opportunities for further exploration of show topics – partnering with other organizations, businesses, and artists in our community. We believe that theatre should be accessible to everyone, offering opportunities for community partners—especially those working with underserved populations—to attend free final dress rehearsals or utilize grant funded tickets. OCP works to extend educational programming out into the community, and provide opportunities for partners to visit our building, take a tour, and learn about how theatre is created.

"At CHI Health we think of health in its broadest terms. Theater, and the arts in general, are a beautiful component of health and well-being. Through the magic of story-telling on stage, we can learn, share experiences and grow in our understanding of one another. This was our experience through The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time. As the largest provider of mental health service in Nebraska and Southwest Iowa, we are proud to be part of giving our community the opportunity to experience a unique view of autism and how it affects children and their families." - Tina Ames, CHI Health
