Warm, charming, and endearing, Almost, Maine is actually a collection of nine playlets – whimsical tales of the joys and perils of romance. Set in a fictional town in northern Maine and filled with quirky characters, the brisk tales chart a beguiling landscape of love and regret, chance and destiny, beginnings and endings, discovery of often-hidden truths and recovery from life’s pitfalls. The intimate Howard Drew Theatre is a perfect setting for this midwinter night’s dream!
Amy Lane is guest director. Stage Manager is Kim Langer. The cast includes Ben Beck, Shannon Jaxies, Christina Rohling, Scott Working, Erika Hall Zadina, and Nick Zadina.
Performances run Thursdays through Saturdays at 7:30 PM and Sundays at 2:00 PM only. Tickets for this non-musical production are $32.00 for adults and $21.00 for students.
