Crowns
Group reservations for our season opener, Crowns, are currently available.  Don’t miss Regina Taylor’s musical play that celebrates fabulous church hats and the African-American women who wear them.  The “hat queens” wear their symbolic crowns to communicate messages far beyond those of fashion.  You don’t have to be black, female or a fancy hat lover to enjoy this adaptation of Michael Cunningham and Craig Marberry’s book Crowns:  Portraits of Black Women in Church Hats.  Enjoy this talented cast of 6 women and 1 man as they portray the spirited characters of this story.  Groups of 15 or more receive a discount on the single ticket price of $38.  Contact the Director of Sales at (402) 553-4890 ext. 147 or knewman@omahaplayhouse.com to make your reservations.
