SPECIAL EVENT - COMING SOON
McGuigan To Debut Beatles Show at the Playhouse!
Yesterday and Today: "A Celebration of Beatles Music"
July 13 - August 5, 2007
In The Howard Drew Theatre - Sponsored by Security National Bank
TICKETS NOW ON SALE - Call the Box Office at 553-0800
Billy McGuigan of Rave On! fame, will open his brand new production Yesterday And Today at the Playhouse in July. "Every performance is unique," explained McGuigan in that the audience will request their favorite Beatles songs and share a story or two.
While developing the concept for this production, McGuigan and his musicians "tested" it twice earlier this year - once at The Funny Bone Comedy Club (for a select audience) and once in New Orleans, LA. Both received outstanding praise, but, like his guitar, McGuigan tuned it each time. And this time, it's music to his ears.
After running only two small ads in the newspaper, the Playhouse Box Office is receiving numerous calls daily about Yesterday And Today. Like Rave On! and The Buddy Holly Story, the Playhouse expects this show to be another smash hit.
