Additional Details:

In an effort to be as respectful and efficient as possible with regard to our volunteer’s schedules and the wide variety of performance opportunities throughout the city, OCP will be holding season musical auditions which will take place Monday, June 5th and Tuesday, June 6th at 6:30 pm.

Actors 16 years and up, of all genders and ethnicities, that are interested in MAMMA MIA!, A CHRISTMAS CAROL, PARADE, JAMES AND THE GIANT PEACH, and SINGIN’ IN THE RAIN should plan to attend.

Information regarding youth auditions for A CHRISTMAS CAROL and JAMES AND THE GIANT PEACH are at the bottom of this page.

Actors please be prepared with the following:

A recent photo to attach to your audition form. Please note, the photos do not need to be professional and will not be returned.

Sheet music with 16 bars ready to sing (an accompanist will be provided). Though our musical season contains a variety of musical styles, choose a song that best shows off your voice that you feel the most confident about! OCP directors will use the callback process to learn if you can sing a specific musical style.

There will be a dance audition, so actors should be dressed to move (no boots, sandals, flip-flops, etc.)

There will be a second dance call specifically for tap dancers. Actors wishing to participate in the second dance call should bring tap shoes or hard sole shoes.

• You will be asked to fill out an audition form, which will ask which shows you are interested in. Please select what show or shows you are interested in.

• OCP directors do not expect you to know your full schedule a year in advance, but please list any conflicts that you are aware of at the time of the audition. Should you be called back for a specific show, you will be asked for additional conflicts during callbacks.

• Please have all necessary contact information to complete the form.

After season musical auditions, all actors will be notified of which musicals they are being called back for. Actors will also be given the callback dates and times. Should you wish to not attend callbacks for a specific show, you may decline.

Note to actors attending season musical auditions and are interested in MAMMA MIA! - Callbacks for MAMMA MIA! will be held on June 12 and 13.
